First I want to explain: I am now 28 years old. For 23 years of my life I lived in Ukraine. I was born in the Soviet Union. To understand the things that happen today – I have to make an excursion into the history of Ukraine as well as Crimea.

Historically, the lands that are today is a territory of Ukraine were belonged to different states with different cultures. Western Ukraine always belonged to Poland, Austria-Hungary. Accordingly culture of Western Ukraine is largely formed by these countries. Eastern Ukraine was always Russian. And its culture had developed in accordance with the culture and religion of Russia. South belonged to Turkey, and was inhabited mainly by Tatars. A long time ago as a result of the Russian-Turkish war, the south of Ukraine became Russian.

So Ukraine is ethnically diverse state. It is divided into two cultures, two people. East and West. Diaspora of Crimean Tatars is still present in Crimea. Now they make up 12% of the population of Crimea.

They were more, but during the Second World War, Tatars massively supported Hitler’s troops, and for that after the war many Tatars were deported from Crimea. Is it good or bad – we will not argue. Now those who wanted already returned to Crimea. And live happily ever after.

Sorry for the boring excursion into the history, but without it it would not be easy to understand much of what is happening now in Ukraine. So Western Ukrainians never liked Russians. And joining of the western regions of Ukraine to the Soviet Union – in my opinion was a mistake. But it was done, and it’s not possible to go back and change something.

East of Ukraine loves Russians, it’s Russian itself. South of Ukraine is also Russian and 12% of Tatars in Crimea, who are afraid of Russians for deportation, but generally refer to Russia moderately.
Remember the symbolics of Ukrainian nationalist organizations, OUN-UPA and SS Division “Galicia.”

In conversation with acquaintances from the western Ukraine who participated in these actions, I knew – that people were paid by money for participation in them. (About 10 US dollars for participation). It was the first phase of revolution. ALL Ukrainian mass media supported this revolution in Ukraine because all mass media belong to the Ukrainian oligarchs who are organizers and participants of revolt.

Here on the picture you can see official data about who of oligarchs owns mass media. Therefore they easily manipulate consciousness of Ukrainians, showing events in necessary light for them. For example so-called “Euromaidan” was not spontaneous rally, and is specially organized by interested persons – some facts confirm this. Firstly, rallies were held simultaneously in different cities, so it suggests that they were coordinated from a single center.Secondly, after rallies, buses were served and these buses carried activists to Kiev. If “Evromaydan” was natural, then buses would not have appeared themselves out of the blue in the right quantities. They need to rent, fill, pay drivers to bring in the desired city. Besides, Activists of “Euromaidan” tell that the protest existed on donations of sympathizing inhabitants of Ukraine. It too lie. If the protest arises in itself (during last years from the moment of collapse of the Soviet Union we saw many such protests), tent towns look mottled. Everyone brings the tent, they are different. If each of 10 people donated for a revolution 1 heater – it will be 10 DIFFERENT devices, from the different firms, with different power, and they were in use. Protesters had hundreds IDENTICAL BRAND NEW furnaces. We can see the same situation with the camp equipment. “Euromaidan” was TOO organized to be spontaneous rally.
If people donate products for needs of protesters – it will be different products. I will bring a white long loaf, and my friend – a roll of black bread. I will bring boiled sausage, and my friend – smoked. I will bring one grade of cheese, and my friend – another.
To feed a lot of thousands of people by identical food – it is necessary to buy this identical food CENTRALLY.

Anyway, but the protest was really peaceful. For involvement of people – organizers of this protest established a scene, organized a concert. Many inhabitants of Kiev without sharing political views of the Maidan – came simply to listen to an infinite concert. The center of Kiev became popular with students and youth because of music. All homeless from Kiev and other cities – went to Kiev to “Euromaidan” because there was a free food. As a result the crowd in some tens of thousands of people gathered.

Odessa’s tragedy leaves many questions.

We have a lot of videos and photos of what happened in the city on Friday, and a lot of details, which draw an emphasis to themselves. The information for a thought is enough for complete investigation. Pavel Pchelkin conducted it.

In the midst of the punitive operation in the country, when a tension in Russian-speaking Odessa reached the limit, a football’s match between “Metallist” (Kharkov) and “Chernomorets” (Odessa) is hosting in the city. Several thousands “Ultras” from both teams arrived in the city. They are nationalist-minded fans, supporters of Maydan, which receive a resolution from authorities for a march on the streets of Odessa to support the unity of Ukraine and they are gathering here, on the Sobornaya-square.

Meanwhile, a group of well equipped young people with batons and fittings moves out from Alexander’s avenue to them towards. A lot of people have the George’s ribbons. But general distinctive feature is a label from the red scotch on the sleeve. The Authorities called theim a “pro-Russian militants”, but it looks like someone wanted very much that everybody thought so.

Many witnesses made such a conclusion. The first strangeness and discrepancy happened here. The same red armbands were on the hands of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The most interesting, that in this location, where these members were, a break of separatists happened to the marchers. On this cadres we see red tags on the sleeves of attackers, and the same tags were at policemen in cordons near attackers. The attackers have less group than the marchers-of several thousands march. But obviously that they didn’t want to disperse them. Don’t enough a forces. But in that place where was a break, even smaller group separated from attackers. Why? Soon it becomes clearly, they lure crowd of the fans and it turns out.

Marchers yell so: – “50 persons is … already! 50 persons! We’ll go there through alleyway, there are little them”. The crowd changes a direction of the motion and drawn into the Greek – street. Major clashes are here. And here happen many strange things. . A chains of police make way, skip the attackers and closes again. A stones fly from both sides. On this cadres this person with red ribbon on the sleeve shoots from a gun on the roof. The first murders happen just here. The guns was from two sides, but here is a strange cadre: a hitman shoots from the gun and behind him stand a policeman. Bloggers discover in him a deputy of head the Odessa police Dmitry Fuchedzhe. Also he stand in surrounded “red ribbons” before a collision. Also he with a group of this people are moving there where will be the clash with a participants. And here an officer The Ministry of Internal Affairs instructs the attackers with red ribbons: “Need to understand exactly, what do make every platoon. Ran all and ran… where did run… So, you look, we have some problems with it every times…!”

But more difficult to belive in this cadres: here a person in vest shoots from a gun by marchers straight from chain of police. Here it becomes clear that the main objective – angering the crowd as much as possible. Why?
We understood after that, when attackers with red tags rapidly left the battlefield and angry crowd moved to way of Kulikovo’s field, where was a camp of opponents the current government and nobody can disperse the camp for some months. Of course, no people with red ribbons in the camp wasn’t. There some activists were on watch. They saved themselves from the crowd and barricaded in in the House of Trade Unions. Now about people who were in the crowd: several thousands of fans, who accustomed to street fights. In planning they were only a cannon fodder.

As acknowledged by the Odessa’s Ministry Interior officials in crowd were two special battalion “East” and “Storm” , they equipped with foundation recently by the nationalists of “Right sector.” They were in civilian clothes. By an amazing coincidence that day in Odessa was a ex-commandant of Maydan Mr. Paruby .
– Police appeared here the first in an hour later and there after the fire station. The signal was given pause . Paruby supervised . He was in Odessa yesterday and the day before . It happened on his control .

And here’s an another character . Man in body armor surrounded clearly not form a civil satellites. He falsely complains to someone on the attackers clearly working on camera Ukrainian channel. “They have weapons , they aggressively tuned ! They pyrotechnics, my boys came to the empty-handed. My four people injured and me too” .

Of course he is lying, that he was not armed. Here he shoots at the burning of the House Trade-unions and doesn’t give people,who sheltering in the building, to get out through the windows . His name is Mykola and he leads one of the hundreds militants of Maydan , which has arrived in Odessa recently. As already known, the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs said later that the people who died in the building, set fire to themselves, because it is the third floor , where there was a fire , a person can’t throw the bottle with incendiary mixture. This cynical assertion is disproved easily.

Here’s what one of the survivors said in his blog: ” In the meantime , reported that Maydan erupts on the third floor, in a corridor from the other way … how they got there ? I ran to help block the door, I even met two girls in the hallway , who tried to move the old iron safe . I helped them to convey to the door , we blocked the door. While I was carrying and built barricades, some white – green smoke went under the door … air from the lungs came instantly. I thought that i’ll suffocate in that one moment. ” In other words , the militants of Maydan were inside the building. Here they demonstrate the Ukrainian flag in the window under the universal approval of the crowd. But other footage later. As seen in this window on the third floor they begins to inflame the fire. At that time the governor of Odessa Vladimir Nemerovsky essentially gives militants of Maydan license to murder. He wrote in a blog : ” Actions Odessites to apprehend and neutralize an armed of terrorists are legitimate . ” As we have to told already , the majority of those who came to burn the house Trade-unions weren’t from Odessa. But inside there are Odessa’s militants of “Right sector ” first entered the burned building and immediately began to search for documents of the victims. Then Ukrainian propaganda tried to lie , claiming that those killed were found Russian passports. They were showing on the Internet , but it was easy to refute. That’s the same passport with those names and photos was at once in message on April 16, allegedly detained Russian saboteurs . May 2 in Odessa, they burned people alive , finished off them with sticks , if people wanted to run. Besides, as it turned out , some people were among those killed with gunshot wounds. Prior to this, the police haven’t thought to impede even.

Putting all these facts , we are not hard to understand , to conclude that the cause of the tragedy in Odessa is a provocation to force disperse and arrest active people who protest almost several months against the current government on the Kulikovo field by hands of fans. For this experienced provocateurs were in that, and in the other side . Apparently hardly anyone was planning mass murder. But the crowd , which is excited by blood and impunity, couldn’t been able to stop.

To the official statistics, that are given by the Ukrainian mass media, get only servicemen of the regular army and workers of MIA, but there are no open statistics of losses of recently organized armed formations from the number of right ultras like National Guards and practically private special battalions like “Dnepr” and “Vostok” (“East”), which were created by oligarch Kolomoyskiy.
But in particular these subdivisions least prepared to the battle conflict because they consist, in general, of young people, who don’t have any military training.

So, on the 11th of May, during the sally of militiamen, the losses ran into tens of killed and hurt soldiers of National Guards, and besides most of them suffered for friendly fire ( mistaken exchange of fire between two subdivisions of National Guards and National Guards with the usage of heavy guns, as a result of which the car with ammunition exploded). In general, the losses of National Guards and other military formations (counting killed people) exceed several hundreds referring to the words of militiamen. But today nobody will say the exact number. And about the height of the losses in the subdivisions taking part in repressions of population at the South-East of Ukraine we can judge only with the help of indirect facts.

Nobody knows the common number of soldiers in the National Guards and special battalions, their lists are not fixed anywhere – that is very comfortable for hiding the real number of losses. The usage of disprisoned criminals also allows not to worry that somebody will be looking for them. Besides the hundreds of people, whose death is just hidden, there are also lists of “missing”, “deserted” and so on.

So, according to the information given by the police from Dnepropetrovsk, more than a half of special battalion “Dnepr” were written off into “deserted”. As like as not, that desertion is real phenomenon, because the generosity of Kolomoyskiy is a myth, that doesn’t exist at all. There is no doubt, that several hundreds of people with weapons could disappear from the unknown region for them being unnoticed, so, probably, most of them are not alive any more.

At that, if at first , dead bodies were taking out in refrigerators to Kharkov, where they were cremated, but now after mass losses of recent days, several excavators came by Slavyansk, which, according to the words of natives, were digging common graves, where they piled up dead bodies and then buried and leveled.

Huge losses explain the feverish activity of one of presidential contenders of Ukraine – Lyashko and other supporters of Kiev regime in recruiting new “special battalions” – many soldiers of the old battalions are already dead.

In fact, hundreds of EuroMaidan, “Right Sector”, and other radicals are driven to slaughter. Without appropriate training, armed anyhow, they are sent to the modern analogue of crusades to get rid of unnecessary population, at that of the most hyperactive part of it ( if you remember the history, nobody returned from the several crusades – all the participants died).

From the point of view of the authority survival it is rather logical. While radicals were in Kiev, they even after the removal of Yanukovich from the power and coming of new authorities, twice tried to attack the Verkhovna Rada, threatening to overthrow the government of Yatsenyuk. The one suitable decision for our new government is to send them to death to the South-East.
Soon, because of chronic absence of money, there will be collapse of Ukrainian economy (the gas will be disconnected, investment to the industry will be stopped, the technical oil will be drawn off from the pipeline), the number of unsatisfied will be increased. So, to get rid of the most active and the most organized part of the possible protesters – it is, from their point of view, is rather justified.

The inhabitants of the South-East, on the contrary, don’t want to kill, they are sitting in the tight defense, but when they are attacked…

The Emergency Service Chief of the Odessa region: People in Trade Unions building died in seconds.

Most of those in Trade Unions building did not die from carbon monoxide. And thousands of people outside did not give the fire brigades access to the building for a long time. Vladimir Bodelan, Chief of the Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odessa region, revealed the details of the fire brigade actions in Odessa on 2 May.

One of the main reasons of the mass death of people in Odessa was the fact that the pro-Kiev activists who set on fire the camp of the anti-Kiev activists and subsequently the Trade Unions building, did not allow fire engines access to the place of the tragedy, according to the Chief of the Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odessa region Vladimir Bodelan (ITAR-TASS).

The obstacles
“The most frightening in the situation was that the fire engines could not get to work on arrival because of the shooting and the resistance by the attacking activists. A many thousand crowd did not let them get through for a long time. By the time they arrived, despite the building had already been on fire, the Molotov cocktails were still thrown into the building and shots were fired into the windows”, said Bodelan.

According to the Chief, prior to this happening the pro-Kiev activists with the Ukrainian flag captured a fire engine and used it as a ram in street fighting.

“On arrival the fire engines were attacked by a hostile group who did not let them move any further and attempted to take over the engines again. The valuable time was wasted on trying to get closer to the Trade Unions building”, the Chief said.

The situation changed only when more Police came. “Our rescuers carried and led over 350 people out of the building”, says Bodelan. The saved ones were beaten so badly that the ones remaining in the building refused to leave.

Unknown causes of death
Bodelan’s opinion is that the central staircase on the first 2 floors ignited literally within seconds, after which a loud pop of some sort followed, it was so strong that the fire died down instantly.

“And that very second a few people appeared on the ground, they jumped from the back of the building. Most of them were alive and could even walk away. But after just a few tens of meters they dropped unconscious, and we do not know what happened to them after”, said Bodelan.

“I’m certain that 99.9% of people in the Trade Unions building died in seconds, and did not suffocate by smoke or carbon monoxide. This is what the medical examiners are for and we are going to wait for their conclusions”, said the Odessa Emergency Service Chief.
